Gino Corsanini, born in 1947, at Ortonovo, near Carrara. In this city he studied marble processing techniques, at most renowned artisan masters and refined the classic style.
The artist then joined the Venerable Duomo Factory as a sculptor.
During this period Corsanini learned the art of restoration, combining the classic experience with its modern style.
In the mid-1980s Corsanini started a free-lance career.
In his studio, always in touch with the craftsmen of Carrara, you can observe both the modern statues he conceived and Gothic masterpieces from the Milan cathedral that he skillfully recalls to their ancient beauty.
Therefore, it is possible to savor the world of sculpture in all its parts from the beginning to the future, following a line of thought, which allows us to approach abstract art through the concrete.
